We're are only FOUR WEEKS away from the start of PR Weekend San Francisco!!! I can't wait to see everyone and I'm really looking forward to the Sandra Betzina seminar.

One of the highlights of these weekends for me is to see all the fantastic clothes created by the attendees. What is everyone working on?

My biggest goal is to get a new trench coat made. I'm using Vogue 8884 and a mulberry textured twill I purchased from Mood. I have the fabric and lining pieces cut out and marked but still need to cut out the interfacing. There are a LOT of pieces to this sucker! I should have lots of sewing time this weekend to put a dent in it.

I would also like to make the quick knit dress that has been so popular (Tracy Reese Vogue 1314) but I don't have the pattern yet. Fingers crossed that Hancock's has it tomorrow.

And if I am really productive, I would like to make a pair of Jalie jeans from some red stretch denim.

Hmmmm, I might have to take the month off from work now that I see how much I have to do.

So chime in and let me know your sewing plans. Anyone overly ambitious like me?

Bonnie, you will be turning heads in SF! Great choices and I wish you luck getting all three pieces done. My emphasis this coming month is on slow sewing as I am moving my sewing room from the upper floor to the basement. I do have this vest cut out in a stormy grey linen:

I have seen this made up by cairncrew and it is totally cute. Interesting that there are no reviews so far. Maybe I will be the first?

Bonnie, those pieces will be great choices!

I'll be the underambitious one! We've just decided to renovate a house we have that has been empty for almost a year, so that my daughter and grandson can move in. They are moving back from Florida at the end of May. I'll get to see my Grandson ANYTIME I want come June!!!! So I will not be sewing anything, unless it is window treatments, until we get this house finished!

I will be ready for SF PR weekend though...even though I will probably be wearing RTW most of the time. Anxious to see everyone else's creations!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the creativity but probably will not have anything new to wear either. My goal is to get the exams that I'm giving the following week written and the term papers due the preceding week graded before Wednesday the 24th. I do NOT want to spend the weekend grading papers and writing exams!

As a teacher I can totally relate! School is officially out for the PR weekend. Except learning about all things Sewing.

Love this and never seen it before. Pattern company and # or name for it? The pants look well proportioned to the vest too. Thanks.

I have been busy sewing a dress and jacket in the latest Ottobre magazine. They have so many cute outfits this time.

Hi wendyrb, The pattern is B5473 and is a Connie Crawford design. I have not made the pants but you are right-they are a nice shape.

I'm hoping to have a nice Tailored Jacket ready for the trip, but I'm bogged down in many trials and tribulations:

Moderators and more experienced Message Boarders: I searched the Message Boards and wasn't sure where else to post this (so many topics!).
Please let me know if I could cross-post this on another message board.
Perhaps we need one devoted to Tailoring?
