Hello everyone I hope that you are well. I am a newbie from the UK. I have just purchased a Janome MC11000SE it's being delivered on Tuesday & I cannot wait to get started with it!! My machine is a second hand machine that has been reconditioned it's only had one previous owner who traded it in to upgrade to the MC12000. I have been told its in great condition & has been regularly serviced by the same dealer I bought it from so I am hoping it will live up to my expectations. I managed to get it at a price of 1799 which I don't think was too bad considering it is quite an advanced machine. I am really keen to hear from anyone who owns this machine or the MC11000 as they are very similar, any tips you can give me for setting up my machine & getting the most out of it would be really welcome. Thanks in advance & Happy Easter to you all :-)

I know nothing about that model, but perhaps you can join the Yahoo group for it while you are waiting. You'll pick up lots of useful tips there. Have a wonderful time with your new machine!

Hello! I own this model machine and really love it! I have been doing quite a bit of embroidery on it and it embroiders like a champ with almost no issues.

I actually was planning to get this model myself prior to purchasing my PCP. It is a a wonderful machine and there are fun videos with Marie Osmond in them LOL! It has tremendous capability and I wish you many years of happy sewing.

I found this post about my "new to me" machine - I have a couple of questions about embroidery capabilities that I can't find an answer to in the manual.... Can you tell me how I might be able to do the following? I need to embroider on the breast pocket area of some polo shirts - Scranton
School District

I can't seem to find a way to either: set up "Scranton" and then "enter"/go down to do the second line underneath it... or to do 2 files - one with Scranton, one with School District (I did make those two files) - but i can't seem to get them to both open in the editing window so that I could stitch them together... The book says you can put more than one design on a screen to stitch - is there some reason I can't do it for two words/phrases? Any advice would be greatly appreciated... i have been looking and so far have not found anyplace that either has online classes or is close enough that will offer a class in a shop when I didn't by the machine there...
Thanks in advance...

Open the first word as normal go to the edit screen and open the second word. Machine places both in the center of the hoop so than you can position where you want the design. If this is something you're doing multiples of save it again.
