I am working on a quilt for my ds. I am getting ready to soon put in the batting. Is it OK to use an old quilt in between the top and back of the quilt?

So long as it is clean, I don't see why not. That's what they had to do in the old days!

Not only OK, but a time-honored tradition. If it's a family quilt, mention it in your signature block.

Thank you! I am super excited about finishing this quilt. My poor ds. He has to be very patient.
