I went shopping for my husband today...
That is, it's my birthday tomorrow and I bought a gift for him to give me!

I was at my local Bernina dealer picking up a spare power cord (to make traveling with my machine easier, one for home and one for taking to classes, etc) as well as some feet that I had ordered for my Artista. Last week I told myself the feet were my birthday present. But the store had a ruffler. I don't have a ruffler. The ruffler would be a nice present. Hmmmm...

So, rumor has it my husband got me a ruffler for my Bernina. I put it in his hands the minute he walked in the door!

Congratulations! Enjoy. I personally feel that the best presents from MDH are the ones I pick and he pays for! Lol!

That's what we do...make life easier for the ones we love. And, I love my ruffler too. You are sure to love yours. What a wonderful thoughtful husband to give you such a nice birthday gift. Happy Birthday!

I enjoy this post. It reminds me what my DH and I do every year during the holidays. I purchase what I want and put in his closet and he purchases what he wants and puts in my closet. We have a gift budget so we don't go overboard. Since we do surprise wrapping, we really don't know what is in the boxes until we open it, so it really is a gift that does not get returned. BTW, we will be celebrating our 49th this year.

Happy Birthday! That's the best way to get a present. My birthday was yesterday & my husband bought me thread for my new HE1. He was as surprised as I was when I opened it ;-).

Happy birthday!!!!

It took my father several years to figure it out with my mother. Now he knows her favorite store and two favorite jewelry designers, so he buys her something from their newest collection every year

2014 resolution: keep track of sewn yardage!! I'm subtracting fabric given away from my yardage in. Yeah!
In: 93 yards
Sewn: 62.5 yards

I'll try anything once :)

Please excuse my typos...sometimes it is harder to go back and edit on mobile than it is worth!

Very nice of you to help out hubby like that. Wish my wife would do that!
