I've made a deal to purchase a Pfaff creative 4.0 with the large embroidery unit. Assuming it arrive in perfect working order (don't fail me post office), I'll have this and a Viking Designer SE. My favourite dealer is a Viking dealer.

I'd like to know what viking-branded hoops I can used in the creative 4.0. I'd love to be able to buy from my dealer and support them. Also I noticed on eBay that two sellers carry the 360 x 350 hoop and the Pfaff branded one is more expensive. I tried using Google to figure it out, but there's no chart. So far, I've been able to ascertain that the 200 x 200 quilting hoop and the texture hoop are interchangeable. Any other info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I think the creative line and the designer line both use the same hoop system. I don't know, but the Viking might have a wider range of sizes though. I purchased a Viking 200x200 hoop to use on my PCP just because that dealer was closer.

Your favorite dealer will know the answer to your question, or just try interchanging the hoops to see if the EM recognizes the connection.

Once you have your machine, attach embroidery unit, choose design and look at the drop down menu for hoop sizes on your machine. Write down the size you want and purchase hoops designed for the Diamond. The machines recognize the hoops and when new onces are available they are added via smart update to the machine.
