I have a jean muslin that I have been working on for weeks. I took a break for a couple of weeks to go south for some much needed sunshine (although I suffered sm withdrawals ). I'm getting back into the saddle and pushing forward with that project.

What about you? What are you sewing this weekend?

Btw, it doesn't have to be creative sewing, I just didn't know where to put this thread (pun intended )

I am waiting for fabric to arrive so I can continue on the pattern stash contest. Until then, I may work on my tailor's ham and a giant poofy skirt ^__^

Eta: I just realized I have had this tailor's ham pattern for a long time....yes! :D

2014 resolution: keep track of sewn yardage!! I'm subtracting fabric given away from my yardage in. Yeah!
In: 93 yards
Sewn: 57 yards

I'll try anything once :)

Please excuse my typos...sometimes it is harder to go back and edit on mobile than it is worth!

Piano cover No. 2, underwear for a client, spa bags for another client. And hopefully, if it warms up enough, I'll be trading my presser foot for a shovel to dig out my raised vegetable beds.

On the business side of things -- prepping 2 ballroom projects for their next fitting.

On the personal side of things -- finishing up DGS's sleep shorts.

Given the weather (more snow projected for the whole weekend), there will be lots of sewing time.

This morning I did the sewing equivalent of spring cleaning. Fixed pants, a t-shirt, belt, bag, etc. and cleaned my craft room. I've already made 2 dresses and 2 tops for Spring, but I have tons more I want to make. I think I'll start on a cute Spring bag next, then maybe take a break and knit something.

Jeans. I have 3 pairs in varying stages of completion from just needing hemming to barely started.

Also, I really need a new wallet, and a new handbag big enough to hold a standard notebook.

But the jeans need to be done first, since that's what the machine is threaded for.

Wedding gown, 5 bridesmaids dresses assembly line style, and I took a break to make a couple of hooded baby towels for a baby shower next week. Was so fun to do a mindless, quick reward project with no fitting requirements! Now back to alterations. Oh well, it pays the bills.
