I got this catalog from Tea yesterday and I love the clothes! I really want to make my little girl some outfits instead of buying them (she'll be here in a month or so) but haven't been able to find a similar shape.

Here's the link to one of them: bubble romper

But really they all are adorable.

I feel comfortable making small changes, so I'm mostly just looking for the bubble shaped romper. We didn't really use onesies (well, we did, we just didn't close them) for my son since they didn't fit over the cloth diapers very well and these look like they would.

Thanks!

Those are adorable little outfits! I used this tutorial to make my daughter a bubble suit last summer and I loved the way it turned out. The top is shirred, so it's not exactly like the ones in the link you posted, but it has the same bubble look at the bottom.

I have a grandson arriving next month, so I have just pulled out all my old baby patterns.

You might flip through the past Ottobre magazine issues to see, they always have really cute stuff.

Oh, I didn't even think of looking at the mainstream patterns! I was searching though sites like sewbaby since I figured the big 4 ones would be a bust. I like that last simplicity one.. now I'll have to go look for a sale.

Thanks!!

Sent my husband the link to subscribing to Ottobre for a mothers day present. Hopefully he'll do it--it gets him out of thinking of a present for me! :)

You could try the Sis Boom Bubble Romper. While I haven't made this particular pattern, I have made a number of the other patterns, and the illustrated instructions are fool proof!
