I was super afraid to even start this quilt. I thought it was way past my skill set. So many points to at least try to match up. And so much piecing anything could go wrong. Im really happy with the results.

I had to start a new thread b/c is a diff quilt in the daylight!

I thought some people might relate to things turning out better than expected or looking lots different in different light.

Did you take pics?

I usually feel like I can see past the bad spots and keep working but, I almost scrapped this quilt thinking it was going to flop. Im sure some people will think it did. But thats not the point. I like it.

The daylight makes this quilt better than my inside night light does. Im sure youve all had that experience, too?

Wonderful. And that border is spectacular. What weight of fabric is it? I ask because it looks like something suitable for home dec, but it really sets off the quilt.

Great eye!

It is a heavier home dec. type fabric. It really adds just the extra wild/scrap feeling I wanted. Even though, all of the fabrics are brand new I still see a scrap quilt.

I could not find the tone I was looking for - and I saw this and thought - perfect. I bought it first. Ive been buying fabrics for this forever.

I love the way the brighter colours really pop in the sunlight. I love star quilts and think you did a great job.

I like the way some of the stars seem more "diffused" which to me, is more real life.

Beautiful quilt!

Gosh darn it! You have done it again! Your design sense is so fabulous!!! I love the movement in this quilt and the way the star come and go. Love the alternate block and its muted character. Love love love the border! I have a few yards of someday border fabric just waiting for a quilt to hug!
