Tomorrow is Pay it forward day. I know this is a nationwide thing, possibly even international. Everyone is supposed to do something nice for someone.

For this years pay it forward day, hubby and I have filled 40 bags with bottled water, fresh fruit, cheese and beef sticks and other assorted snack items. Tomorrow morning bright and early we are going to load up the van with these bags and go find 40 homeless people to give the bags to.

Actually, make that 41 bags. As we were at the store buying all the goodies, there was the one legged guy in the wheelchair that always begs in front of that shopping center. We filled a bag for him as we were loading the stuff in the van.

Its not too late to make your own plans for pay it forward day! It doesn't have to be a big thing, just something nice for one person. Pay for the car behind you in the fast food drive thru, give the mail man a muffin when he delivers your mail, offer to walk the neighbors dog while you are walking yours, mow your neighbors lawn when you do yours etc etc.

I love this! What a great idea.

Sewing machines make me happy. I like sewing with them, cleaning them, petting them, gazing longingly at them.

Why just one day and why does it have to be given any attention at all?

I try to pay it forward everyday! Sometimes paying it forward can be simply being polite and helpful to someone who has come to expect Nada!
