Question: After trimming out the pattern and using multi sizing(example: Pants, 12 at the waist, 10 hip, 8 legs)...do you need to true up the grainline after cutting out to the sizes you need, or is that only if other adjustments are made?

If you have the grainline marked on the pattern lined up with the straight grain of the fabric, the grainline should stay the same, even if you cut the outer edges on different sizes. Or did I misunderstand your question?

nitsel, thank you. I did recheck the grain lines and they were only a tiny bit off(according to Sandra B's instructions). I never know what adjustments will throw it off. I've often wondered about these multi size patterns. By the time I start on a 12 in one area and end up with an 8 in another, it's hard to get my head around the grain line not being affected
