I've seen this style of jacket in nice RTW with a collar but with no lapel (or should I say no break line in the facing that would create the lapel?). What do you call this? I love the look of it, and I want to catalog it for future projects, but I feel like I need a better descriptor.

I think it's called reverse lapel. Try googleing that term.

Another term I've heard used is inverted notched collar.

It looks like a cardi type front with a notched collar. like a blouse with the collar turned up.
