Does anyone know of a pattern similar to the Alice + Olivia draped linen wrap sweater that you can pre-order for $330 at Nordstroms?

It looks like a common cardigan shape with a very long, wide scarf sewn to it like a shawl collar. There are buttons on one end of the scarf and buttonholes on the other. The drape effect is just styling.

Simplicity 4025 view B could easily be altered to achieve this look.

Yes, I see what you mean. For me, given my limited experience with pattern alteration, it would be a definite challenge needing many muslin fittings.

Perhaps the allure of the wrap sweater is the price and the contemporary style. I suppose I should consider what it would look like on someone without the model's figure and whether it would retain its style in real life motion.

Thanks so much.

Check out kacy's top at silhouette patterns. I think it similar.

Upon looking it over again, I disagree with my other post. Simplicity 2603 should be exactly what you're looking for! Happy hunting!

Color me impressed! Yes, I am going to sew this! For the fall! And not for $300 ;-)

Thank you!

I think this KwikSew pattern looks similar, although not exact: KwikSew 3891

The latest Threads, IIRC, has an article about altering a top pattern to provide this twist style. We're traveling and the mag is languishing at home, so that's all I can tell you for now.

Butterick 5563, which I have made and reviewed, is pretty much an exact copy of what you're looking for.
