It seems that I am drawn to OOP patterns. I have had previous success on Ebay and Esty but this one is no where to be found. I am looking for New Look 6752, which is a simple shift pattern and was recently reviewed on PR. Have tried searching current patterns on web and cannot find something similar. Does anyone know of a similar pattern?

Thank you.

Here is one on Amazon.

You could also look at local JoAnn's, Hancock's, Hobby Lobby, etc. They don't empty out OOP patterns, they just stop restocking them. (I wouldn't expect to find somethign from the 70s, but this one looks relatively recent.

Well, interesting question about why patterns you like go out of print. You may be a woman of distinct and unusual tastes, so you're drawn to patterns that don't sell well (and appeal to persons of more pedestrian tastes). or, there is some kind of conspiracy at foot, where spies from pattern companies are eavesdropping on your conversations in order to yank patterns that you like. probably one of those two things.

Just checked Amazon and found pattern. Never would have thought to look at that site for patterns. Thank you everyone for the great detective work.

This is what Bath and Bodyworks used to do to me. They discontinued every scent I ever loved. I finally gave up. :)

I've worked in fabric stores since 1988 (independent, local chains, & presently Hancocks) & have taken care of the pattern dept. in all of them. OOP patterns aren't left in the drawers...at least they're not supposed to be! As per ALL the pattern companies, they are to be removed & destroyed.

When a pattern gets discontinued, the store gets credit for those they had in stock. It's pretty much illegal to get paid by the pattern company...& get paid a 2nd time when you sell it.
Any store that keeps them in stock is running the risk of losing the right to sell them...

It's a plot. At least, I think so.

I just figure I'm not a trendsetter, and it takes me an excessive amount of time to learn to love the style. IOW, I'm always a year or two behind.

And while we're on it:
Whatever happened to Blueberry Newtons?
I loved those!

I'm gonna start a sub-thread on this...
