I have decided to make some palazzo pants for summer, the kind that almost look like skirts, hehe

what are your favorite patterns like this?

I had the same idea and bought Butterick B4861, which are called gaucho, but there are six variations and a couple look palazzo-like.
I haven't got to doing it yet.... and if the rain keeps up I might keep putting it off in favour of things that don't make me think of the weather.

Have you picked any pattern yet?

ps I do love the look of palazzo pantsGood luck!

I just noticed that the Butterick pattern has been discontinued. Maybe some stores will still have it though.

Oh, I didn't realise it was discontinued.
I don't have local shops so usually buy on-line, so that's probably why.

I haven't made palazzo pants in years, but the ones I have made were from a Burda magazine from 8-10 years ago, so that isn't much help... But if I were looking for a pattern, I'd check Burda envelop patterns or Burda style downloads first, as I prefer the Burda fit in pants.

Do you have a favorite pants pattern that fits well? Couldn't the legs be widened to make a palazzo pattern from it?
