New Butterick patterns are out: Summer/Fall 2013

There aren't a ton of must-haves for me, but I do love 5930 because it has a detachable modesty panel (dickey)!!!

I really like the design lines on 5921 though the way they bisect the bodice looks like it might be a pain to do an SBA:

5917 is also pretty cute, though ruffles are a little too girly-girl for me so if I made that dress I'd substitute a plain bias band or something; maybe a stretch lace border from Shindo.

*oops forgot to add the picture before I hit submit*

Oddly enough, I think this may be the must-have for me.

Thank you for the link.
I like this one.

Even with the princess seams? Doesn't it seem like the apex of the bust is above the diagonal?

I'm still going through them (tropical shower is slooowing down my signal, grrr) and while I am adding patterns to my wish list, nothing is making me scream, as my friend would say, LOL!

Yeah I was looking at how that diagonal piece comes straight through the front center area I would need to shorten for an SBA :(

Edit:
Oh yeah and also I was looking at 5916:

I have a weakness for surplice bodice with gathered shoulders which is why I already have like 10 versions of that design >.> but then I noticed the inconspicuous text to the lower right, under the size charts link: "Includes separate pattern pieces for A/B, C and D cup sizes" A PATTERN I DON'T NEED TO SBA?! I AM SO THERE!

I am so with you - the moment I saw it I thought `nice` so waiting for the next sale - if I can resist that long!

I *love* that 5917 dress -- and I haven't LOVED a Butterick pattern for a very long time. I'm picturing it on my daughter, but it might work on me with a little toning down of those ruffles.

That blouse (5924) is nice -- also the "too complicated for me to fit" red dress, lol.

I also really like the Fast & Easy skirt, 5929.
