If you haven't heard, 2 PRers got together early this year decided to start themselves an indie pattern company, Lolita Patterns. We'd like to think that we know our way around a pattern because we've sewn lots of patterns and own sooo many more. I now call my pattern stash, "market research".

Of course, we don't know it all and need your help. We're looking for pattern testers across all our sizes (2 to 24). Details here. I hope you come join us on the next phase of our journey.

This is so exciting! I really appreciate your unique point of view and the fact that your sizing goes up to 26--way to include most women, that rocks!!

This pattern looks to be beyond my abilities, but I'll be on the lookout for your beginner patterns to come.

Is the Sugar Plum pattern the blouse, skirt and jacket?

It's a dress. The top portion is woven. The skirt s a knit for comfort.

I'm intrigued. Your size 18 matches my bust and hip. I must check you out some more.

That looks like a great pattern.

Oh good I was going to ask which part of the ensemble shown in the Sugar plum pic gallery was actually Sugar Plum, to be honest, I really thought it was for the blouse at first. I also take it testers will work with a single size although the final product will be multi-sized, right?
Adorable, a nice idea for a 'two piece' look dress, makes me wish I was young.

Sugar Plum isn't my style, but I love your sizing. I'm nearly a perfect size 10.

Marilly, testers will get a multisized pattern. We are trying to get testers across the range of size but you don't have to fit into 1 size exactly. Part of the testing involves working with the PDF pattern, trying out the pattern instructions etc. it's more comprehensive than just testing out the sizing.

Sew confused, the dress can be made without the flounce (that's the second view) which may be more of your style. I'm planning on making a version with a denim jegging fabric for the skirt and maybe a yellow fabric for the top for a more casual look. Would this fit your style better?
