But asking for your prayers, my sister in law has breast cancer. The situation has apparently been going on for a while as she is actually my ex sister in law but still close to the family, as my brother in law (husband's brother) is an ass. But we just found out about it. This woman basically raised her now 17 year old daughter on her own and she is graduating high school in a few weeks, she was a late baby. So they could use some prayers. thanks, Laurie

Sending good thoughts her way. Do you have any details you feel comfortable sharing? Is she having surgery, chemo, radiation? What stage was her cancer? I too was diagnosed just before my youngest graduated from VMI(Virginia Military Institute). He had worked so hard. I kept the diagnosis to myself for about 3 weeks(did tell husband, but told him to keep it to himself). I wanted Evan's day to be perfect, his day, and I wanted one more day to be "normal".

No details yet, my MIL told my husband quickly when he stopped by but she was on her way out the door to go on vacation with rest of family, we being not included in that. So we know very little and I don't have recent phone number. But my husband is trying to get it from one of his sisters. It was a very messy divorce etc. My daughter is a friend of her daughter on FB but we don't know what she knows so don't want to contact her.

taking time to stop to pray for her and her daughter ... it's so sweet of you to share this on her behalf.
