I'm looking for some woven, moisture wicking fabrics to make skirts/shorts/skorts out of. I've bought RTW by Nike and love it but would prefer to make my own. Anyone know where I can get it? Google is not helping out a lot.

Rose city textiles in Portland, OR has a wealth of outdoor and sports fabrics. They have a website and Annette, who runs the showroom is very helpful over the phone.

it doesn't matter what type of sewing you do. you are sewing, and sewing is good.

Dumb question, but have you tried good old linen and rayon? Both wick moisture beautifully.
