I never used to make patterns.

Then, I wanted to make new things and needed help. I started making patterns. Sometimes. Ill make one that is colored like the pattern, then - make one that is my style.

Here is the one I made with my choice fabric.

This - was the one made from the pattern --

No -- thats my peony.

This is the quilt from the colors in the pattern..

Both are so nice.
I see more purples. I like the way the colors blend so nice. You are so talented.

(sorry if I have the color wrong, I do not see colors always correctly so can only go by what I see ...smile).

I love those big roses! And the border sets the whole quilt off so beautifully.

I agree with tgm - you are so very talented and you put these quilts together so fast - amazing!
The first one is my favorite but the other one is just as pretty, in a more subtle way. Really good work!

I think both of them are stunning and balanced. You have a way with color.

I also love florals!

There are more purples in the floral one - only because in the stack of purple patched managed to hide in the stack till the end. Random selection!

My dream beds are old brass or iron beds on screen porches on run down camps on lakes. I love lakes. I live on the ocean but - the ocean is temperamental. I like moldy smelly lakes. And these quilts would be perfect on my dream beds!
