Used a Pooh panel to start with so it was nice and easy (pfftt. says she who quilted around every character!)
Thanks for everyone who helped out with advice.
Cot quilt blog post

And now I want to make a bassinet one, and a floor one to attach some play gym items to.

Snuzal - Your quilt turned out so nice. Great job on the binding. I can see why you want to do more.

Panel quilts are a lot of fun and a wonderful way to make something quick for little ones...

Speaking of little ones, congratulations on Baby Snuzel too!

thanks everyone, I really enjoyed it. the quilting around each character took such a long time and was incredibly awkward in some places, but I got there (just dont look too closely lol)

Great job on your first quilt project -- I started out with this same kind of project.

Quilting around each character can take a lot of time but the outcome is definitely worth it.

Congrats!
