I'm working on a craft project and need some help. I'm using Wonder Under to fuse a polyester poplin to itself - I'm making a kind of channel - and I don't want any stitches to show on the front. So, I'm using Wonder Under, but the heat of the iron is causing the poly to shrink slightly.

Does anyone have a glue they can recommend? I may simply try using less heat, but I need this to be a secure bond. Thanks.

Many of the glues that I use for gem setting say that they are for fabric to fabric bonds, but I have not tried them. this one is Aleene's Jewel-it, but I know there are more.
Consider prepressing all the fabric before the wonderunder is applies, also you may not need as much heat as you are applying ,as you said, but check the manufacturers recommendation. Are you using a press clothe?

Aleene's makes several fabric glues. I would probably try "No sew fabic glue" or "fabric fusion"

Heat 'n Bond is like Wonder Under but adheres at a lower temperature.
