I got a mailer from Joanns yesterday and took it upstairs to sewing room. I cut out the coupons, it's coupon days so a bunch of 50% off and since no notions were on sale I figured could get a few things well I set them down and didn't realize a small open bottle of sewing machine oil tipped over on them they are covered in oil. I threw them right in the trash. Now thinking maybe could soak them a little and then spread them out to dry? I was also looking to get fusible web with them. I hate the when I do dumb stuff like that. I know it's only coupons but still.

I hate that when I do something and second guess myself later. I don't blame you a bit. Why not try to dry them out? Or, call Jo-
Ann's and ask if they have any spare mailers you could have, sometimes they do.

I'd wrap them between pieces of paper toweling, and take them in, all the while blushing and explaining your mishap. A very kind, albeit rare, Joann's employee would certainly sympathize with you.

Do you have a smart phone by chance? I have the Joann app in my phone and most of the flyer coupons show up in my phone too.

Call the store and ask if they have any more on hand before you drive over there. I know what a good sale they have is like.

Oh, can you download any of their coupons? I remember doing this a couple of years ago. Someone posted the flyer and we could download the coupons from it. Not sure how it was done anymore, though.

I know you will HATE this idea. Sign up for their email and receive coupons you can print out yourself. I remember doing this as well and often used them. They are good in the stores.

I am a Quilter at heart. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors. Recently I have discovered I enjoy doing applique. I love making pictures. Using a sewing machine is much easier than counted cross stitch or oil painting for me. I enjoy landscape quilting as well. I am working on my first applique project in the spring of 2014.

hopefully maybe the will send the current sale ad. I've just always gotten them in the mail. I think tonight though may try cleaning them and see what happens. I had said wasn't buying anything more this month except for fusible web. That's what I wanted to use them for. Maybe all the coupons will be in the Sunday paper ad also.

Maybe you can print some coupons from their website and there's usually a stand at the entrance of the store that holds flyers with the coupons. They usually send the coupons in their emails.

Our Sunday paper always has JoAnn's coupons, so yours probably will too. If not, look online. Sewing machine oil can be evil! My good scissors were squeaking a few days ago, so I put a couple drops of oil and cleaned the scissors... so I thought. The next day I cut out my lining and today saw blurs of oil on my lining. Used some alcohol on cotton balls, which helped. I know, off the subject, but darn sewing machine oil!!!
