The bobbins for my Classica 105 DO NOT fit in the bobbin case for my Optima 150. The bobbin cases are a little different, too. The 150 came with three bobbins and I would like to buy more. Help?

Thanks. They have the same model # bobbins for both machines which doesn't make sense to me...

Can you take your bobbin case in to a repair shop? They might be able to match bobbins to fit your bobbin case.

I just checked the Brewer catalog, and couldn't find anything for an Optima 150. They did list the manual for it as "discontinued by the manufacturer." A lot of the manufacturers make it so you have to get the parts from their "authorized dealer." So, you may have to get them directly from a Viking dealer.

I had some around that I was supposed to mail off to a person here on the site (as a gift)- but I lost the bobbins and never sent them off.

I'm going to call the place that serviced my Classica and pick their brain tomorrow.

Good idea, since you already paid them too, why not tell them you need a bit of help in even actual sewing on it, threading it up, and want to make sure the bobbins they give you are the right ones and fit in it while you are there, so you are bringing it with you, and want them to just sit with you while you thread up and sew with you for a few minutes, to get you started off right with it. And that you just forgot to do that, last time around. My guess is that since you are a good paying customer of theirs, they would even expect that, do that for people all the time, would not even charge you anything extra at all, and then you would be off to a much better start with it.

Er sorry the Optima I bought off eBay. I plan to get the Optima serviced when I've saved $79. I have a Classica that they recently serviced (and did an awesome job, too.) :)

Hi there,
I also recently purchased an Optima 150 - but it's missing its bobbin case!!! :(
I'm assuming from your info that this bobbin case --

-- doesn't actually fit this machine?
Also, ditto the corresponding bobbins?
Did you find any bobbins that fit? I'd really love to start sewing on this machine! :)
Thanks,
Donna
