I'm trying to find 3/8 inch covered button forms, anyone know where to get them? (I'm right near Portland, Oregon so an actual shop is okay too.) I would love being able to get them bulk or wholesale, but little packages are totally fine. Thanks.

That is a smaller size than I've seen, but
check out this tutorial.

Have you tried Fabric Depot in SE Portland? If not, you could call there.
Also there's this site though I don't know the comparison of the numerical sizing.

I just bought some covered button kits from Wawak, you cannot beat their prices or service.

Wawak

They also have one time use coupon code, THREADS913, for $20 discount off an order of $40 or more. This is good until the end of September and will be taken off after an order is placed. Shipping is $4.98 for any order less than $100, over that and it's free.

NAYY, just a very happy customer.

I forgot to mention that on page 24/25 of their online catalog you can see the different sizes of buttons and their corresponding stock numbers.

You can also flip through to see all the other wonderful things you might want to add to your order.

Direct link to their catalog or you can find it on the front page of their website on the left.

Thanks you guys---looks like WAWAK has a 7/16 size which is only a little bit bigger than 3/8 so that may work. I'll check Fabric Depot when I go out next, but I my just end up following that tutorial---I'm sure I kind find the buttons to do that!

In my research I couldn't find a cover button in a 3/8" size. I think that 7/16" is as close as you may be able to get.

Subject: covered buttons Date: 7/16/13 11:29 AM

i BOUGHT MINE THRU "NANCY'S NOTION'S. She Sells a tool that makes covered buttons very easy. Something else you might like is "DRITZ" 7Cover Button Templates. I think I bought those at Joann's. The second set I have is "i.top" 4 templates. 16mm-22mm.28mm. I don"t know where I bought them.
On the back of the package. www.imaginisce.com.
Personally I like the Dritz one better. Sizes=1/2 ,5/8 ,3/4.,7/8.,1 1/8.,1 1/2. , 1 7/8., I hope this helps a little . I love covered buttons also.
