Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make this pattern fit? I don't like the wrinkles from the shoulder to the bust line and I'm not crazy about the neckline/collar area either. Appreciate suggestions. Thanks.

Your picture isn't showing up?

I did get to your facebook page and looked at the picture
Looks like you need more circumference at the bust.

If you can try to spread the gathers a bit farther out from cf. The gaters as is are pulling from cf towards the bust. If you can move some of that cf fullness it will lessen the pulling.
I know it will be a bit "touchy" because of the shape but you should be able to move some of it over.

If you want to alter the pattern for another top you could split the pattern over the fullest part of your bust and add some circumference that you would gather into the yoke. Either split top to bottom or split and spread like a dart. The first option gives extra all the way to the hem. The second keeps it mostly at the bust.

I am a beginner, so this is directed at others . . . but I see the diagonal wrinkles down from the shoulders towards the center of the yoke. Are the shoulders perhaps a bit too wide? It seems to be bunching, not pulling, right at the top.

Move the gathers from center toward the sides.

The shoulders? Maybe an inch narrower, or leave as is. The gathers are the noticeable issue.

I think the shoulders are too big; possibly tracing a size down in the neck and shoulders (basically the upper bodice) would help. You could grade out to the size you've chosen where the bodice meets the lower section.

Although my measurements say I am size 16-18, I've been surprised recently to find that cutting a 10-12 in the neck and shoulders give me a much better fit.

I think it looks pretty darn good, but I see what you're mentioning. I agree with others that you could probably go with one size down in the shoulders, and then maybe a small FBA to increase the gathers so it doesn't pull at the bust?

The shoulders may be a tiny bit too wide, but I think the more pressing problem is that your shoulders are squarer than the pattern.
