Photos are fuzzy looking until you click them.

How do we make photos look good before being clicked? I am uploading thumbnails for the gallery and patterns, but they look awful unless you click on them.

Turn on your Camera Shake feature if you have one. Apparently you are moving the camera ever so slightly. If you don't have a camera shake feature, then change your shutter speed to something faster; you might have it so low that it requires a tripod.

It's not a photographer problem. If you click the photos, you can see how how sharp they are. It started happening when the gallery photos became pop-out enlarged.

If a photo is clear and sharp, making a thumbnail doesn't change that.

It is happening to other people, too.

My guess is the problem is PR's thumbnail-making compression. You upload a full-size photo, but PR's system resizes it to a small number of megabites/pixels (it used to be 100x100 pixels, I think; don't know if that has changed). I think there you have relatively small garments at relatively close up, so the low-res thumbnail photo appears fuzzier than, say, a full length person. I don't know that there's anything you can do about it, except maybe compressing the photo yourself before submitting (I'm not photo-savvy enough to know if there is a difference in compression/shrinking quality done on different programs).

However, this is all just a guess!
