As mentioned in the title, I have a Dritz My Double Deluxe. I am trying to adjust the waist length but cannot figure out which dial will allow for such. The instructions mention it is adjustable but do not explain each dial. By process of elimination, I think I have figured out all the dials but cannot figure that one out. All the dial either make something expand or contract in width but not in length.

Thanks from a noob.

I don't have a dressform so I can't answer your question but sure am interested in how it can be done. I do have a request. If you have time could you measure the bust point from the middle of the shoulder down. Mine is low (almost 12") I wish that could be a adjustment too. Thanks.

I don't think there is a dial for that. The top part can shift up or down a certain amount - you'll notice that there are actually two pieces. You may have to dial the bottom portions a little smaller so you can lift the torso section up a bit. Sorry, I'm not at home or I'd take a pic for you.

I don't believe any of them have the ability to increase the neck-waist length or the waist/hip length. If they did I would buy one.

I can confirm that there is no dial for that, but you can shift the upper piece upward so that it lengthens the torso/waist area. I had to do that by 2 1/2 inches so it would match my measurements. Worked like a charm.

OMG!!! I figured it out.

I don't have a website to post pics, otherwise I would. Anyway, you know how the MDD (deluxe) has the bar offset for pants. Well, when you look up side her, there is a middle bar that seems to do nothing. That bar can be extended to lengthen the waist!!! i could stand for a bit longer torso but it's a great start for the cost.

Is there another way to post pics. It is asking for a URL??!

Bouncy,

This is something that I, for one, am interested in seeing!

You can sign up for a free Flickr.com account. Post your images on there.

I created a video tutorial on one technique you can use for posting pictures from Flickr onto this forum here.
