Is it just me or does this look like a retro/80s collection?
"New Victorians"

I remember a brand from the 80s that was Australian (I want to say it was Red something?) - I had a suit of theirs that was the "modern" Victorian that several of these pieces remind me of (especially the leather jacket and the lace dress). Not to mention Gunne Sax.

And the lace panel shirt is just Michael Jackson's Thriller jacket.

It does remind me a bit of the early 80's, after Princess Diana brought frills and poufs back into fashion. But in a good way -- I quite like a lot of that "New Victorians" collection.

Definitely a Gunne Sax vibe. However, I really like the V-neck dress, One-Button Blazer & the coat.

It's missing the football player shoulder pads from the 80s. The puff sleeves on that leather jacket don't need any shoulder pads, though!

The split-V dress, on the other hand, is very nice (and definitely not 80s).

I really like the wrap blouse, I'm tempted to buy it but not sure how the printing at home works (given different paper sizes etc) especially as I'd be printing at work!

This was the ugliest, most hideous collection that Burda have done in years, IMHO. Absolutely, unforgivably bad.

I couldn't even bring myself to mock it in my review of this issue, it would've been like kicking a disabled puppy.

Interesting - I don't particularly like any of it apart from the puffed sleeve jacket, which I like because it looks like real victorian!
I notcied they've moved most of the shoulder seams back from the top of the shoulder - a very victorian touch, but the rest of it I agree is much more 80s!
