Saw it this week.

It's a new TOL serger..... very nice!

Expanded bed, like a serger/sm blend, so you can sew chain/coverstitch work on a larger flat surface, really nice big area. LED lighting. Speed control!! A slider on front of machine like Babylock sewing machines. Knee lift! Love that. Manual presser foot lifter conveniently moved to front of machine. I think they said the needle screws are changed so they don't fall out. Some nice feet if you get the promo with 22 feet included. Back part of thread stand is tilted, can't remember why, maybe for optimum thread feed? Stitch conversion pretty much same as Evolution.

How many tension disks or is the serger component like the Imagine?

I went to the BL site but saw no pictures. Did you see this somewhere?? I'm very curious.

Is it safe to assume it has the same jet air threading & no tension as the previous TOLs. Can't wait to see it.

A knee lift would be wonderful!

Dealer here has a new products event each year in each of their stores, it was this week and they had it there live in person. No photos were allowed. I guess babylock's convention and "unveiling" happen later this month. Dealer demo'd it then it was set up for customers to try. Air threading, no tensions, 8 thread, knee lift, speed control, big sewing bed and I think it was noticeably quieter and "smoother" than its predecessors. I hadn't coveted a babylock as I can thrrad easily - until now.

Wow. Lucky you. I just bought the evolution last year. I can only imagine the price tag of the ovation!

There's a live webcast from BL convention which is the unveiling of the Ovation. I think it's 8/24 but not sure -- their convention is this week.

suesewserge are you in CA? I just cross posted on the Juki w/jet air threading topic. I worked at a couple of the stores for the "unveiling" and got to demo and play with the machine.... it's a winner! As I noted on that post, there were people trading in relatively new Evolutions for this one!
