I just realized my fav RTW pants are RPL and I really love them and I've heard people rave about RPL.

However, I cannot find it when I search the fabric sites. Thanks :)

The one time I have bought RPL I bought it from Gorgeous Fabrics. Not sewn up but washed well, does not attract cat (important criteria!).

I too bought some amazing PRL from Gorgeous Fabrics several years ago. I made slacks out of it and wore them forever. They still look brand new!

I did find some nice RPL on the sale table at Hancocks this week. They had several plaids and herring ones that have both washed up nicely.

Emmaonesock.com has the best I've found. Basic colors and a reasonable price. Washes/dries beautifully!

This takes you to one of them. She has a number of colors available.

The two best sources for it are GF and EmmaOneSock.

Thanks for asking this question. I didn't even know what RPL is, and now I want some.

That's the beauty of this place, isn't it?

This Post started it! And then, I have this pair of RTW slacks that I wear like 2-3 times a week (hey, they're black!) and used them extensively to modify my Butterick 5908 pattern. For some reason, I never checked out the fabric content until this weekend.

They're 62/32/6 Poly/Rayon/Lycra. I bet the blends with more rayon are even more awesome. I will be finding out the next time I order fabric!

Fashion Sewing Group sells a high quality modern gabardine.

The pant fabrics at mood that nancy2001 linked to in the TNT topic are the best price.

Emmaonesock always has it. She has a regular supplier now and it is very reasonably priced.
