I am altering a sundress for a bustier woman.my sewing mannequin can only handle up to 39 inches in the bust area.she goes up to 43 inches.Does anyone know how to increase the bust size on the mannequin? Thanks

I've put a larger bra on the mannequin and then "stuffed" it to the right size. If you don't have a larger bra on hand, just fashion a quick crop top that you can stuff -- make sure you determine the split of the inches between the front and back at bust level.

I agree with SheBear. Maybe you can borrow one of the woman's bras and stuff it with batting or foam. Take the woman's upper bust, bust, and under bust measurements to get an accurate fit.

Pad as needed with batting then put on a old bra in the correct size and stuff.
