Spoonflower is offering a new fabric, a 100 % poly "performance" knit which has "moisture management".
Registered users can get a free swatch til Thursday.
This looks interesting , I haven't ordered anything from them yet but their other sample fabrics looked good to me.

I used them before - wonderful fabric!!

Just be aware that they screen print your order. There will be a blank border around all 4 sides of your piece and that may affect your yardage requirements.

I saw their email today and have been drooling over the thought of ordering some.

The first fabrics I ordered from them were skimpily printed (not saturated color). Since they print on demand and I assume it's a digital process, I am not crazy about the quality yet. But, you can't beat them if you need, lets say, a fabric with a lawnmower print.

I'm VERY interested in this new wicking knit!

I can't see any information anywhere about the free swatch offer though - can someone post a link? I see lots about the fabric, nothing about the offer. Is it a coupon code?

(I've been a customer since their beta phase, but I don't get their newsletter)

Sorry, but the free swatch was only for 24 hours. They must have received a big response since my order is still marked as "in process". It's a 4.1 oz. weight, so not exactly sure if its suitable for workout pants/leggings or only tops. Will see when I receive it.

damn! I really wish they'd offer the plain fabric swatches for free - in this case I really don't care about what's printed on it, just what the base fabric is like.

I don't often order from Spoonflower if I can avoid it because their international shipping is RIDICULOUSLY slow (usually a full month after I receive the shipping notice email! It takes everything else 4-5 days from the States), but I'd love if you could report back on this new fabric, like the weight and its wicking properties, if it pills, etc... thanks!

Anyone else receive the performance knit swatch?

Its not for me - feels like old school polypro and makes my jaw hurt to touch it. Plus the printed design was less crisp, I think.

I will be sticking with the silk crepe, ha ha.
