Hi, I bought a tagging gun with the intention of using it in place of pins when sandwiching a fairly small quilt.

The tagging gun has broken before i have even used it. I bought it at a craft fair about 2 years ago and it was quite cheap. No hope of warranty!

Ideally I would like to get another one in Australia but can't seem to locate a supplier.

Would anyone know who sells these?

thanks

thanks Chris. Wow they must have gone up hugely in price since I bought mine. I didn't buy from the same place but it looks the same and I paid 1/3

That about what I payed for mine, but I bought it at an office suppy store, and use it for costume fittings, tutu tacking and just about any thing that could use pins, but I have never used it for a quilt. May do so on the baby quilt I am working on.

We have one to put price tags on our clothing - Got to say get the smallest punch you can!!!! We did not unfortunately so most wind up in the garment label to not snag or ruin my fabric!

Never thought of it for keeping fabrics together for a quilt - what a great idea! But tiny holes :-)

The one I have makes very small holes, and I use it on lycra! It is the same one that is used in the Levi factory. The tag gun is called a Mark III Fine fabric and it uses Avery Dennison fine fabric tags. the 3/4" ones that I use have the order # 08938-0.
I pay $18.00 for 5000. I usually have to special order them from an office supply company.
