Everyone's favourite Russian blogger has the 11/2013 images up on her blog.

Also, my online newsagent informs me that the next Burda Style Special is another "Classics" issue, with the UK version due out on 12 October. Don't know anything else about it at the moment though. Last time I don't think Russia got the magazine at all (if I recall correctly, it's issued by Burda France) so we may not be able to rely on our Russian friend for images!

I love this jacket:

Also this top:

However, on the other hand, what ON EARTH are these trousers? Can they be helpfully deployed as a parachute in case of emergency?

I love this classic dress (photo 35/51) and the awesome girls' herringbone pea coat (photo 49/51). Apart from that, I'll pass.

Thanks for posting this, though.

The first plus dress is nice, but the second one looks like a bag of potatoes!

What is with Burda and the shiny fabrics? They're so cheap looking, and usually unflattering to boot! That blue satin number might be very cute made up in a cozy woolen sweater knit

Love that first jacket!

The blue top? Don't mind the look of it but what happens when you want to raise your arms?

I can't imagine those pants doing my hips any favours.

Thanks for posting! Looks like a good issue to me. Keeping fingers crossed that kids' coat goes up to pre-teen sizes. I would love to make it for my 11 year old!

Edited to add : I had higher hopes for the LBD section. Some of them look pretty matronly to me!

I like the first jacket but the collar edge finishing looks homemade to me. I wonder whether it would be possible to change that.

On the whole, not much for me. I like the cowl neck dress and the belted coat, but it's hardly breaking news. The rest of the regulard size models look very weird, and well ... homemade. Not because they're badly sewn, but because they're definitely not things you'd see in the stores or on the street right now (not that it's bad, but not the look I want).

The plus size models are nice, though (the black dress is a stunner!), as well as the children patterns !

I think the problem with that jacket is the fabric they used is too stiff. I could picture it in a soft linen for Spring, and without the leather edging.
