Sigh.... I have a Singer from 1993 which has a snap on foot attachment, and DD have lost the little zipper foot attachment.

I am happy to buy either the snap on replacement or a new slant foot zipper foot (I assume it is slant as it is a Singer)

Is there a place in Los Angeles to get them? It is sooo big here, I can not wrap my head around having to order on line

I am in S Pas but could travel to West side if necessary.

I am headed to FIDIM/garment district tomorrow AM so I thought I would try and get one but have no idea where to start looking.

Thanks!

I forget the name, but there is a shop on the corner of 8th and Santee that has feet, etc.
I'd take a photo on your phone of the shank and bring the remaining ankle with you to make sure. If they don't have it 8th would be where I'd start looking. Good Luck!

There is a store on 9th street between Maple and Santee that carries every type of foot you can imagine for long and short shanks. They don't have fabric but anything that pertains to sewing they have. Dress forms, irons, sewing machines, sergers, tailors chalk, scizzors. You name it they have it. On the outside of the store sometimes they have phones pressers and dress forms. It's not a Hugh store but it's a lot of stuff in there. I tried to bring a picture of it on Google but I am not having good luck with it.

Thanks. I got the foot, but after having to convince the guy behind the counter that i did not need a new shank which did not match what I currently have in order to get the zipper foot.

The foot i got was only $3, and hopefully it will do just fine. I was trying to but other feet, but he did not seem to understand i was wanting to spend more money if it would fit my machine. I will have go to back another day when I have a lot more time!
