The centers are scraps from a string quilt I made last year. Ive moved the bag that those scraps were stored in 40 times in the last year. Im so glad to use them.



I love all my machines so much - every one of them got to work on the quilt.



I just got a old industrial machine - loving it. Perfect stitches.

DH eye tumor is starting to shrink! Yipee!! This is very good news.
My kid brother had a triple bypass ..he made it.through the surgery okay. Please keep him in your prayers. A long road to recovery ahead, as more heart issues found. Still so glad he is okay.

Oh yes .. Ive been talking about it over in the sewing machine board. Lots of pics over there. Just a SS. My machine is an old singer.

I never really had made a quilt with sashing b-4. I like the way it came out.

Im loving the machine - this one has a great feeling to it ... but, it is an intense hard industrial feeling. I love using it, dont know if I would want to have it as my only machine.

I enjoy late night calm and quiet sewing. The 15-91 and even the pfaff can be quiet easy machines to play with.

Im on the 3'rd floor of an old house... if I had no neighbors or this machine was on a cement floor .. I would not have a vibration/noise guilt about it-- maybe that would change things, too.

Just goes to show don't have to spend thousands of dollars to get the perfect stitch. Even though I don 't use it much my Singer Rocketeer has a perfect stitch also.

The centers are scraps from a star string quilt I made.

The sashing and borders are made from left over larger parts I bought for other quilts.

There is some flamingo fabric in there that I bought and had never used -- I bought it for fun and this was a fun place to use it.
