About 2 months ago I set out to make my first ever wedding dress for a close friend. Well, it's DONE! And I couldn't have done it without the folks on this forum... so THANK YOU one and all for your assistance and advice! I appreciate it so much.

It's hard to believe I brought a sketch to life -- it really looks just like how we envisioned it! The bride loves it, and I do too.

Here are some photos:

Beautiful, really beautiful. And absolutely the perfect dress for your friend. It is so exceedingly just right. Thank you for sharing.

How strange that the pictures should have disappeared. I hope she will create new links. Her friend has the most amazing skin and hair and the fabric textures and color are the perfect compliment to her friend's lovely features with the design perfectly complementing her figure and framing her face and neck.

Everything pulls together so beautifully that it is as if the friend is a muse to (or for?) a great designer.

Again, well done!

Gorgeous!! Agree perfect color, balance for this person.

When I looked at the sketch, there was a photo on bottom right of the woman wearing it :-) Stunning!

I don't know what is up with the pictures... when I go to this discussion I can see them (even if I am logged out!). In any case, here are some links if the pictures aren't working for you...
