I know that it's winter here now but I'd like to be ready for the new golf season and, hopefully, sunshine next year.
I like wearing skorts. By skort, I mean a short skirt with knickers attached. Not too indecently short and usually A line shape, occasionally with a little pleat - and a side pocket and rear pocket are helpful.
I think I could possibly deconstruct one I have already but I'm unsure, so would be grateful for any advice. Thank you

It wouldn't be hard to put a short and skirt pattern together. McCalls has several skirt patterns that might work if you can find a short pattern you like.

Kwiksew 3232 can easily be lengthened. I made it several years ago and love it. It has side pockets.

I would change the shorts to a knit if I make it again.

KS used to have one for Knits too, but I cannot remember the pattern number. The knit one had a flap across the front.

Petite Plus has a nice one too. I am not sure of your size, it starts at a 14.

I love skorts and wear them all summer long.

I LOVE skorts, but I only like them with the skirt look on the back side too.

I really wish someone would do a tutorial on how to combine the skirt/short for a skort. Perhaps I will if I ever get back to the machine. LOL

Kwik Sew 3341. I think this one and KS3232 both just connect the shorts and skirt at the waistband. 3232 has a back zip and 3341 is elastic waist in the back. 3232 says to use lining fabric for the short and 3341 has you use a knit so I would guess you could add knit shorts to just about any skirt. I would love to find one that looks like shorts from the back and a wrap/flap skirt in the front. I think both are OOP.

Another option is Onion 3028. It would perhaps need shortening for your purpose. This is more of a gaucho/skirt than the skirt with pants attached, but another idea non the less.

Thank you all!
I'll have a look at all of these, see what's available readily to me in the UK, and have a go. I'm tall so I guess the Petite Plus range won't be ideal? I'm generally a size 16 in the big 4, though as a pear shape do have to have bigger size on bottom so that means I am a plus size, doesn't it? Not sure why my post appeared twice. Than you Anne

Thank you - I've just seen your post. I was the article with interest and there are some pretty nice skorts in there and a couple that could be modified for my golf.
