They are kind of shapeless on the whole, aren't they? The jacket with the big bow is kind of cute until you look at the front of it....

Maybe in a different fabric-something with a little edge to it so the bow is a surprise. The lace is too sweet for my taste.

me too, as "slouchy" is my middle name. I bought a serape in Mexico last year and I think I'll sew it into:

I like this (the jacket, especially):


I don't like the jacket + dress on the model, but it may be the fabric.


This dress has kind of a cute collar treatment:

I just cross-referenced the Pattern Sales topic and this coming Saturday is Joann's Butterick sale. Unfortunately my local Joann doesn't tend to put patterns out really quickly. Thanksgiving weekend, Hancocks will have the Buttericks on sale.
