Subject: Which order should classes be taken in for FBA Date: 4/1/14 9:27 AM

You have 3 classes on this topic. Would it be too much duplication for a person to take all of the classes? If not, which order should they be taken in?

Also, if I were to sign up for just one of the FBA classes, which one should it be? Background: I always need a FBA on fitted knit tops my bra size is 34 DD. Probably, I will sew primarily knits, and very few, if any woven garments.

Thanks!

PS I am hoping that you offer your pants fitting class again. (Long story, but I didn't finish, because my muslin and pattern got ruined in a water leak!!! I will be starting over from scratch. (I expect to pay for a 2nd class.)

Hi Joanne,

The best order is to take Bust Adjustments first, then Fun with Fitting: Bodice with Darts, and then if you want personalized help, Fitting Clinic: Bodice with Darts. It's actually a great idea to take all 3 classes, because the information will build from one class to the next.

I am getting ready to offer Fun with Fitting: Pants soon. I've been working on a set of illustrations to help explain the most common fitting issues women encounter -- even though I covered these issues in the lessons and videos, teaching the class twice, I realized from the questions being asked that this additional information would be really helpful.

I look forward to working with you!

Sarah, Thanks for the speedy reply. I am going to sign up for the first FBA class!

(Will watch for the augmented pants fitting class, too. I thought there were a lot of questions from some students about fitting issues in the last class, too! Good luck with your preparations. I have your book, which is excellent.)

Subject: video? Date: 4/6/14 11:18 PM

Back in 2011 I purchased the Bust Adjustments course (one of my very first), and at the time I didn't purchase the optional videos. I just now decided to add them on, but I can't because now the videos come with the class?

So, has the class changed a lot and I need to retake the entire thing to get additional information plus videos, or is it all the same class but videos are simply included? I don't really want to pay for the class twice.... I think you can understand what I mean. You are a great teacher, but funds are not unlimited..

Thank you

Angela -- I'll let Deepika know your question. You can get the videos -- which cover the information in the PDF files plus have additional tips and hints -- for a small fee if you've taken the class before. She'll get in touch with you.

Chaya,

The bust adjustment methodology I provide in the class can be applied to both knits and wovens. And you can use any pattern you wish for experimentation.

Let me know if you have more questions. I'm happy to answer.

Sarah
