Hi Knitters,
I can't knit but came across this article. If you're looking for a new project that will help a little penguin, please follow the link.

Oh, the poor little fellow is so cute. I wonder what he thinks of his new clothing.

This would be particularly good for Australian knitters, since it is in their area.

I had seen something similar a few years ago, glad to know they are still going strong! One of our employers here was stationed in Antarctica during his stint years ago in the Navy, and he LOVES penguins and all things penguin!

So they have a good supply now (the site says).

Don't care, I must knit these and send them off.

Just to think of a penguin wearing the one I am knitting...

thanks for the link, Leonie. I live in Australia and will be knitting some jumpers. I have also sent the link to my knitting group at work, and will forward to my MIL who knows a huge network of knitters through her local church.

They have a good supply at the moment, so I am happy to clear out my sewing room and let a colony of only the cute ones move in. And aren't they all so cute. How can you resist them .

By the rather disgruntled look on that penguin's face, maybe some jumpers done in blues and greens...boy colors...would be good.
