The little row of campers across the top should peek out in the very front edge of the bag when it's open... at least that's the theory. lol

I put this together on my dear, sweet ElnaGirl tonight. So fun!

So awesome!! For the first time, I saved the selvedge from a project. It was just to pretty. I hope to find a use for it!

You just need to cut them off, first.

I save both sides. For lots of what I've made, even the side without the dots and lettering can be used.

For this one, though... this is a special thing *for me* for a change. So I'm using the very best parts of the edges I've saved.

MrsC... you amaze me with the garments you do... I'd rather go to Dress Barn and buy a pair of jeans and a top. LOL

But I just *love these putzy kind of projects.

It think it's amazing to see how different we all are. I truly do love following your blog.

Aww, thanks! See and I cannot do these types of things. I have tried making different zipper pouches and such and it's always a complete and utter MESS.

I would love to make a tote bag but I am scared that it will look like "who knows"!

Now there's something messed up there....

Doing a bag, for the most part, is one little flat thing up against another.... *** no greedy butt to fit! ***

I've got a Sew Along starting for my Bionic Gear Bag in just a couple of days... I wish you were in on it. I love your humor and it would be fun to see a garment sewer like you do this thing. lol

There's life past garments, Mrs. C. lol

Yes, it does. :)

I'm going to try to contact Deepika today to see if she would appreciate the Sew Along happening here... or if I should just make a page over on my own site.

I could see why she might not want it here - I don't know if they ever allow one that is just focused on one pattern - or not. At first glance, not sure it's been done that way here.

HUH?? I can't imagine you making anything that is "always a complete and utter MESS" as well as something that is "who knows."

And if you did make something like that, I bet you would have fixed in a hour or so!

Very cool idea! I never even thought of saving selvages before or what in the world I would do with them.
