Have you ever ordered one of their patterns?

There are several cute Deer and Doe patterns that I've considered purchasing, either for myself or my daughters. I'll admit that the overseas shipping cost and time has been an issue with me. I was wondering if anyone in the U.S. had ordered from them, what their shipping costs ended up being, and how long after ordering did it take to receive the patterns?

I finally bought my first Deer and Doe, but can't comment on the shipping cost and time since I happened to buy it in France...

Have you tried checking to see if they have a store in your area that carries them? I don't know where in Virginia you are, but there's one in Leesburg: http://www.deer-and-doe.fr/stockists.htm

They have retained their online selling rights; they only allow their retailers to sell in store, which makes it a bit tricky for all of us in the US.

There is a local store here that carries them (which kind of makes it silly that I bought mine in Paris, but oh well). If you can't find them elsewhere, I might be able to pick them up and send them to you for the cost and time of USPS shipping.

I can potentially get to the Leesburg store when visiting my parents (who live somewhat nearby). It's a shame, though, I think they are missing out on increased sales by being so restrictive with their online ordering.

I am looking at their site right now. Shipping seems to be 4 euros to Rhode Island, but the price of the pattern goes down nearly 2 euros because of the VAT, I suppose. Total for the sureau dress is 14.67 euros shipped. Seems pretty fair...

....which ends up just under $20 shipped from France. I just paid $20 for a by hand london pattern shipped from MA, so it doesn't seem too bad. Now, do I really need one more unsewn pattern....:/

I ordered the centauree dress in May, the total cost was $20.73. I was actually quite surprised at how fast I got it, I believe it only took about a week? I live in Montana.

I've ordered from them twice and I received both orders in less than a week. I live in NC. Love the patterns!

Yup, with exchange costs, paypal charged me $20.44. Can't wait to get my first D&D pattern!

I've ordered twice and both times it's taken 5-7 business days to get to Alaska. The VAT more than covered the shipping.
