Given the problems with the July issue I thought it might be interesting to track the progress of the August issue.... assuming you NorthEast-ers will have it first... then it will slowly show up across the country.

Only those who've known the agony of not getting their Burda will understand the importance of this forum! It will also help us gauge when we should be calling and requesting a replacement if it doesn't show....

I'd be really sad to leave my call till too late again, and have GLP out of replacement copies....

Boo--I am so sorry you didn't get yours--glp did email me that they sometimes get returns from vendors after about 3 weeks or so--so even if they don't have any right now--they may get some July in. If you still want it you might want to contact them and see if they can give you an update. Lets hope for an early August!!

Hi,
I can't believe I'm the first one to post good news on this thread. I just ordered a subscription on July 18th & I received my frst issue today - it is the August issue. I have only scanned through it so far, but there are definitely some great looking fall fashions in there (I am quite taken by 130 - a swingy knee-length wool skirt). I live in southwestern Ontario, just in case anyone wants to determine the relationship between geography and date received. Well, I better get cracking - looks like I have a lot of sewing to do!

August will be my 1st issue, too! And I am anxiously awaiting its arrival here in HOT Southern California.
I also found a seller on Ebay and was able to order Apr, May, June, & July 2005 from her. She is in England---but those issues may reach me before the August one from GLP news. I can't wait to have them in my hot little hands! lol!
You all are way too inspirational with your gorgeous burda creations!!!

Hi Everybody, I'm glad to see this thread! After seeing everyone's lovely creations from Burda WOF, I feel like I need to get in on the fun! I was wondering what is the best way to go about ordering a Burda WOF subscription. I know they have a website. Do most of you order thru the website? Do you have the magazine translated into English? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks-Sheree

Sheree, I ordered my Burda WOF subscription through Amazon.com ($60/year, English). It took approximately 7 weeks for my first issue to arrive, which seems to be standard. The process was easy, and I've been very pleased. I'm eagerly awaiting the August issue--maybe today??!
