Greetings ! Dove Pattern made with felt or fabric 4 hanging on Christmas Tree. Pattern was in a magazine from the mid '70's; have lost pattern. Christmas Tradition N family to make one Dove per child with sentimental meaning from the soon ending year.
Pattern very simple. I am asking everyone without success. Hopeful one of my sewing buddies will have the pattern or an answer 4 me. Body and wings separate patterns. Sewed the wings on after completion of both pieces. Approximate size of Finished Dove ~~ larger than a sparrow. Thank U 4 any information U may have.

I have a wall-hanging I made with two appliqued doves on it. The wings are seperate. Is this what you are looking for?

Gee, I didn't mean for the pic to be so large. If is what you want maybe you can trace them off the screen. Let me know because I think I should edit my post to get rid of that big pic. Thanks.

She doesn't have any doves but does take requests for creating new patterns.

Here is one with the wings part of the body pattern. It should be easy enough to separate the two parts by cutting and attach the wings separately.

The direct link wouldn't paste, so you'll have to "find in this page" or scroll down the list to find the dove pattern.

Angelfire patterns

It's in the left hand column under 10/30/04.
