Embroidered monograms can add a personal touch to garments, home dec projects and gifts. Join me for Club EMB this month and we'll explore everything monograms! There are lots of things to put monograms on beyond towels and napkins. For example, learn how to position initials on the cuff of a man's dress shirt or upgrade pillowcases to family heirloom status. We'll explore different fonts--everything from fun and funky to elegant and formal. If you don't own embroidery software, I'll show you how to combine elements together to make creative monograms. About Club EMB: This new series of online classes on PatternReview will focus on different machine embroidery techniques each month. An embroidery machine is required for Club EMB classes. Each month we will focus on a new technique and you will have four weeks to practice the technique. There are no live chats for Club EMB. Class is a combination of PDF downloads and message boards where you can interact with other students and the instructor. |
