Build a Better BLOUSE Class Feedback

 Class feedback submitted by participants

I thought this was an excellent class, and I'm very happy with the blouses I've made, and the many more I know I'll be making using the techniques I've learned. All the information, tips and techniques were well worth the money I paid, and I would heartily recommend this class to anyone else! The lessons were very thorough. I especially liked all the illustrations - so important with an on-line class. The amount of information seemed overwhelming at first, until I realized that I didn't actually have to complete each lesson on the day it was posted. Having the weekends "off" to sew was a good format. I especially liked the large amount of information - several ways to do something, ideas for different designs. This wasn't a one-project class - make this one blouse - but rather a general blouse-making class with enough ideas to keep you busy for a long, long time.

The overall format of the class was really nice. A lot of PDF files to download, a Q&A board with a teacher, who was able to answer all my questions plus the possibility to attend a chat ( I was at the PR weekend at the only time possible for us Europeans so, I can't leave a feedback on that ) I highly recommend taking classes with Shannon. She is so friendly, helpfull & knows so many usefull hints!

This was the first online class I'd ever done. I haven't finished the blouse yet, but I've read most of the instructions. I was thrilled with what I learned from just the first few lessons. The directions were very clear, and the photos helped. I enjoyed the questions from the other students. I want to use what I've learned from this class before I take another one, but I think this is a great way to learn.

This class was all that I anticipated and more. Shannon is a fabulous teacher and the handouts exceptional. All classes and chats were on time and on point. I did attend two of the chats, those in the evening. Full-time employment got in the way of the other. I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone.

Shannon is a gifted internet instructor and her attention to detail in her class lessons is second to none. Everything is on schedule and questions are always answered in a precise and timely manner.I did not have any technical difficulties.I attended chats when my schedule allowed and they were very informative. I do recommend these courses and this is my second course with Shannon as I find her classes worth every cent spent.

I expected to learn something, and at the very least, jog my memory as to certain techniques. What I was not expecting was a new approach to sewing. I had always learned that eliminating bulk was a major aspect of sewing if I wanted my sewing to look as good as/better than RTW. Shannon took this to another level.

Her instructions were thorough and clear. Lessons were not skimpy like I have received from other (not PR) on-line classes. Her lessons were very comprehensive with lot of pictures to support her written text.

This class exceeded my wildest dreams. I loved the lessons, they were clear and there was enough to do each day without being overwhelming. Shannon gave thorough answers to every question I had, and it was so helpful to read the boards every day and get other people's questions and ideas.

Build a Better Blouse was my first online class. It was an excellent experience and surpassed my expectations. I thought the depth of knowledge was substantial. Although I have not yet gotten through all the lessons, I'm pleased that I learned so much that the class inspired me to continue to learn and improve my techniques through other classes. I was especially wowed by the handouts. Shannon was extraordinarily thorough, patient and attentive to questions and confusions. Everything seemed quite accessible.
