I loved this class. Over the course of my life, I've taken lots of classes on lots of subjects, but this was one of the most useful I've ever taken. Shannon deciphers our questions when we aren't always sure what the problem is, nor how to describe the problem in correct terms. She responds quickly to questions and shows interest in the subject and her students. She freely shares information. Her lessons are easy to understand and straightforward, but also detailed and thorough enough to keep more experienced folks interested. There was a lot of substance in both of the classes I've taken from her.

I really loved this class and found Shannons' teaching style to be thorough and patient. She's a very inspiring teacher and her style encouraged me to overcome my fear of the subject. Being a visual person (and visual teacher), I appreciated her use of color to create her points. The brightness of the pinks and greens created an excellent visual reference and if the class were taught in a ‘'brick and mortar'‘ classroom with an overhead projector, the effect would be astounding.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for having had the opportunity to take this class. At the risk of being hyperbolic, I dare saw it was life-changing. Certainly sewing-changing and worth every last cent. I have been studying Patternmaking books, but it wasn't until taking this class that it all made perfect sense. Shannon is an *exceptional* instructor. She is genuine, enthusiastic, thorough and made everyone feel important, interesting, intelligent and welcome. Most of all, she knows her stuff and conveys it clearly. The class was well organized, the materials were crystal clear, the homework was challenging, the field trips were thoroughly inspirational and the chats were both informative and fun.

This was a great class. I have learned so much and Shannon is a fantastic instructor. She is very thorough and knows her sugject matter. I will definitely be taking another class from Shannon. This class was worth every cent!!
