As the process unfolds, we magically see the muslin start to skim our body at the right places. Shannon is absolutely performing magic as she guides us step by step through the process of getting our best fit. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in a pattern for great fitting pants.

As always, Shannon Gifford, in her Make a Pants Muslin class, has presented a topic and supporting materials that are thorough, clearly written and illustrated, well-organized, systematic, and comprehensive in scope.
Shannon's classes--and her attentiveness to each participant--have raised my expectations so high that my other experiences with teachers always pale in comparison.
My recommendation to anyone who is interested in an on-line sewing class is to take one of Shannon Gifford's classes! I have encouraged my friends to do so and they have been as amazed as I have. Shannon's understanding of the fitting process, her ability to resolve fitting issues, and her knowlege regarding the necessary alteration is invaluable.
I remain a faithful student of Shannon Gifford!

Excellent class. As always Shannons lessons were on time and easy to comprehend. She was and is available it seems almost 24 hours a day tho I suspect she does sleep sometime at nite. I had no technical difficulties. I attended the 2 evening class chats as the afternoon one was during the time I had to get my son from school. I always recommend Shannons classes as you always learn something. My only "improvement " especially on this particular class is that the board remain open somewhat longer as pants are hard to fit so it would be nice to have another week or two to post questions and photos.

Shannon has put together a great class on pants fitting! All of the lessons were timely and easy to understand. If the student ever had a question on the instructions, Shannon always took the time to explain it in a way that everyone could understand. Even if three or four students asked the same question, she patiently re-answered those questions in a friendly manner. If I didn't understand her explanation on what she was instructing me to do she would not only explain the instructions in simpler way, she would draw diagrams and mark up our photos showing exactly what changes were needed and where to make them.
I've taken other in-person pants fitting classes, but think that Shannon's is much more thorough. I love how we post photos of us wearing and our muslins and Shannon will mark our photos of what we should be looking at and where the adjustments need to be made. This is a priceless tool especially for fitting the back of one's pants!

This was a great class. Shannon is so talented. The format of the class was good. I wish they could go on longer The lessons are exceptional--timely delivery, content easy to understand and relevant to issues at hand. (Everything unfolds in a natural order) Shannon, is quick to get back to her students with answers to their questions. I have taken at least 5 of her classes and in all of them my questions were answered.

I was amazed how much I learned not only from my own fitting issues but seeing how others were addressing theirs. Being able to post pictures and actually "see" what everyone was talking about was very helpful.

Even though I was not able to keep up with the class(because of personal reasons), I feel that I will be able to complete many of the lessons on my own. The class material and Q&A board are so detailed and helpful! Shannon is the best! This is the 4th class I have taken with Shannon and she is so patient and helpful! Her lessons are clear with many pictures and she is always there to answer any questions!

This is probably my fourth or fifth class with Shannon.......I guess I was "hooked after the first class".
She is a marvelous teacher with lots of patience and encouragement and a wealth of knowledge. I filled up another large binder with very complete lessons, including illustrations.
The chats are fun where we all share our progress and ask questions of Shannon and each other. The beauty of the chat is the "instant gratification" one gets. The "infamous Photo Gallery" is where we all post our pictures and we find out we all have body issues that aren't sooo bad. It is great tool for learning. Seeing all progress we make from beginnning to the final master pattern is amazing!
