This was an excellent class. Shannon helped us get a good fit, then guided us through the jeans-making process step-by step. The instructions were well-written, and she was always available to answer any questions we had.
I appreciate her willingness to share her knowledge with us.

I really enjoyed this class although I didn't participate fully in it because of DH health problems. I followed all Shannon's lessons and the chats, and all were logical and easy to follow. If you did have a question, Shannon was right there to help you. Although fitting probably wasn't intended to be a part of this class, Shannon went out of her way to make sure people got a good fitting pair of jeans. I did actually make my jeans and am now in the process of doing a 2nd pair trying to follow Shannon's lessons more closely, including a better fit, the rivets, and the pocket embroidery. My first pair of jeans actually went to my sister who is an inch taller. The 2nd pair are mine!! Thanks, Shannon.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Shannon's classes. I pretty much am one of those students who sit in the back row and stays quite, but Shannon's willingness to help and answer all questions are a true benefit of taking classes with her. She is thorough, knowledgable, and extremely helpful.
I hope she will give classes in the very near future again, perhaps pattern drafting.

This was my first online class, in fact, probably my only real structured sewing class. I learned to sew from my mother at about the age of 12 and then just perfected my skills through trial and error. I gave up on pant construction after the first few came out looking home-made, not hand made! (I can see now this was a fitting issue)
This has been an eye - opening and very rewarding experience as I thought I really couldn't learn anything 'new' about sewing. I can just hear you all laughing now. I learnt so much, from the basics of fitting to the importance of solid and thorough preparation. THe actual construction of the jeans became a joy and so streamline. (I usually spend at least 50% of my time ripping out my work.) Having the opportunity to post photos for feedback and a lot of people taking advantage of it really helped eliminate the feeling of being on your own as I learnt from mine and others fitting needs.
I really enjoyed and improved from the class and I hate that its over. SO when is the next fitting class - maybe with knits as I am short waisted but long legged? (At least that is what I see in the mirror; lol)

This has been such a great class. this old sewer has learned some new & exciting things. I even ordered more things to add to my stash.
Shannon, you made it so easy to follow thru with your thorough explanations & great chats.
The chat classes I've taken from you have been well prepared & very easy to understand.
I will be making more jeans & if this class is repeated I will tell all my friends to take it. Of course I always mention all the classes on Patternreview.com. Love every one that I've taken.

Great class, as usual. Lots of help on the boards and the pdfs were very clear and helpful.

I love getting a lesson every morning. The information is great and very well presented. The lessons are detailed enough to complete the lesson for the day without too much confusion. I plan to take more classes in the future. I really like getting the information and being able to work at my own pace.
